Nurses cottage is a charming traditional little stone cottage, tucked away down one of the narrow village streets in Tissington. It’s the ideal base for couples looking to explore the beauty of the Peak District from a cosy and tranquil retreat. Pets are welcome.
Formerly the premises of the District Nurse, the cottage was fully renovated in 2005, and comprises one double bedroom, a sitting room, kitchen and bath/shower room. Outside, there’s also a small terrace overlooking Chapel Lane, and ample car parking at the rear next to Hoopers Barn. It’s also convenient for our fantastic local shops and amenities.
The cosy sitting room is tastefully furnished and has a gas burning stove, an LCD TV and DVD player, and WiFi. There also a small folding table and chairs for dining.
The modern fitted kitchen has a full cooker and microwave oven, a fridg freezer and washing machine. There’s everything you need including a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities.

A staircase leads to the pretty galleried double bedroom. This spacious and comfortable room has a double bed and a dressing table and chair.
