Feedback from Previous Tissington Hall Christmas Events
hello and thank you very much for all your help in making Friday such an enjoyable visit for our members and their guests.
Your colleagues in the tearoom were super and the cakes were delicious.
We appreciated Sir Richard giving an introduction when we entered the hall and the guides were very knowledgeable and the hall's Beauty and the Beast decorations were amazing.
Thank you once again
With best wishes
Just writing to say what a super time we had at Tissington on Wednesday. Everything worked very well and the hall was decorated beautifully. Sir Richard set the scene and our guides made it all come to life. You are all to be congratulated. We had a lovely meal in the tea room and they were able to provide us with hot food as well as sandwiches and cakes. Everyone enjoyed themselves and would like to come again! Thanks once again for all your help.
Just to say a big thank you for such a lovely and informative tour around the Hall yesterday. The decs looked fabulous. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and what lovely weather to top it off. We came back with lots of gifts and lots of ideas for Christmas.

Would just like to thank you for your kind assistance with our recent visit to Tissington Hall. All the family thoroughly enjoyed the tour through the hall, the themed setting of Beauty and The Beast was incredible, our granddaughter at nearly three had watched the dvd several times and recognised many of the main characters, such as Mrs Potts and Chip, Cogsworth and Lumiere. Our three grandsons were more interested in searching for chip in every room! The older members of our group were amazed at the amount of work, as in the decorated table, undertaken into making our tour such a lovely experience. Please would you pass on our thanks to the Lord of the Manor for allowing us to visit such a beautiful home dressed in the theme of Beauty and The Beast..

Quick email to say a big ‘thank you’ for all your help in making our trip to the Hall on Thursday 23rd November a memorable and very enjoyable experience. Could you please pass on our thanks to the wonderful guides who patiently answered questions and guided us through the rooms and story of Beauty and the Beast beautifully. Thanks to be passed on to the girls at Herbert’s Tea Room who coped with 52 ladies extremely well, everyone enjoyed their lunch enormously. Our ladies loved your village and spending time and money at the lovely shops.

A Really Enjoyable Evening !!
A slightly belated Thankyou for a really enjoyable evening. We were most impressed with all the care taken with the rooms, including sound effects, it was beautifully done and I do hope that you had plenty of weekend visitors to appreciate it. The story readings by the fireside were perfect, well worth the wet and windy hours drive from Sheffield. I hope that you will repeat it next year,

"Tissington village is really lovely. It's got a village pond with crazy wandering ducks, a olde worlde sweet & antique shop & a superb butchers amongst others. The Hall is beautiful & you can potter around the village, visit the Hall or go on the Tissington trail. Well worth a visit if you are in the Buxton area."

“Christmas "What the Dickens"
It's their first Christmas opening and our party of 16 were delighted. Each room was dressed to perfection with a Dickensian theme. We were met by Lord & Lady Fitzherbert and had a guided tour of the hall. Our welcome was as warm as the cracking log fires. The prebooked lunch was well served and good value, the church and village are lovely and this trip set the scene for Christmas.

May I convey thanks on behalf of myself, my wife and friends during our visit today to the Dickens event at the Hall. We found ourselves entering a large historical house, and eventually leaving a home of warmth and friendliness conveyed by all at Tissington Hall. Would you on our behalf express our thanks to Sir Richard and Lady FitzHerbert for an excellent experience within their home, and the tea rooms.
