Group tours are available to organised societies and groups throughout the year. In addition to the published 28 days, these tours are taken by local professional guides who outline the history and politics of the house over the last 500 years.
Times can be arranged by mutual agreement and can be organised from 10am to 7.30pm in the evening. The minimum requirement is for 15 people but larger numbers are most welcome.
Group Tour Feedback - Charnwood Ladies - September 2016
Very many thanks for our visit last Wednesday. Charnwood Ladies thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was good that we were welcomed into the Hall by Sir Richard himself. Please convey our thanks to the 4 people who showed us round.
Also to the people in Herberts Tea-room for the delicious lunch and coffee on our arrival. We could not have asked for better weather - the sun shone all day and the rain only came on our way home.

I must write to express sincere thanks on behalf of my group our visited Tissington last Friday.
Everyone in the village should be congratulated on their work keeping the lovely atmosphere you have, what a joy to visit such a special place.
We felt very welcome at the Hall and guides were informative and obviously proud of the service they provide.
The Well Dressings were superb and exceeded our expectations, so please convey our appreciation to all concerned, we certainly have a day to remember.
Group Tour Feedback - Brenda Pearson from the Holme & Calder National Trust Association - May 2016
I wanted to write and say thank you to your guides Joy and Roger also the guides of the first group for their interesting and informative discussion which made our tour of your delightful home.
The beautiful weather we enjoyed was a blessing in itself and I am sure would be a relief for you all, and compensates for all the hard work in organising of such a large event.
Our group thoroughly enjoyed their day in Tissington and were delighted to see the beautiful Well Dressing
Recent Group Tour Feedback - Johnsons Coach Tours
We visited Tissington Hall on the 17th November and I just wanted to let you know that the feedback that I have received has been really good.
We give all of our customers a questionnaire to complete and I had 30 returned (most people return 1 per couple) and out of that 25 said it was an excellent venue with the other 5 scoring it good. Most have written lovely comments on the forms and I have had several requests to repeat the excursion in the summer.
The guide has been mention as excellent and lots of people said how welcoming the staff were.
Many thanks for looking after our group and ensuring that they had a fantastic day. I will certainly be in touch to book a further date with you.

Visitor Review Oct 2015
We have had a most enjoyable day today at Tissington. All the club members have said that the whole experience has been memorable and the arrangements worked perfectly. So my thanks to you for the ease of communications between us, to the staff at the tearooms who served us so promptly and cheerfully.
David and Fran were the most entertaining and informative guides and added so much to the event.
A lovely outing - just wish you were nearer!
Brighouse Probus Club Visit, 22nd June
Thank you all so very much for the lovely time you gave us last Wednesday.
We were made to feel so special both in the way you greeted us and with the wonderful afternoon tea.
Sir Richard's talk was interesting and amusing and the guides around the house and garden were enthusiastic, in fact everyone was fantastic.
It was a great day, one that I am sure we will all remember.
